With the frequent appearance of the abnormal weather, it has brought a great impact on our health, industry and agriculture, which has caused people to improve the consciousness of the meteorological monitoring. However, the traditional meteorological monitoring has limitations, information cannot be fully used for the public, and it also cost much as well as its complex operation. Today, the Internet of things technology has developed rapidly, so that the national meteorological monitoring has become possible. For these problems, through in-depth analysis of the actual requirements of the user for meteorological monitoring, we design and implement a meteorological monitoring system based on ZigBee using the Internet of things technology. Achieve the sharing of sensor data in the remote server, to meet the management automation of meteorological monitoring, reduced the complexity of the usage of the platform, and provide users with detailed and accurate meteorological monitoring data to meet the needs of different scale and environmental monitoring needs.The system is a meteorological monitoring system based on ZigBee, the core is sensor sampling system based on ZigBee wireless protocol, and API middleware which is implemented by JavaEE technology. According to the method of software engineering, the system needs analysis, and then the overall design of the system, the structure of the system uses a modular design. According to the module partition, the design of each module is detailed and the database is designed. Using MySQL database for real-time data persistence, and ensure the quality of the software platform and application level of security, the use of industrial grade Zig Bee nodes for sensor data transmission, to ensure data transmission security and accuracy. After the platform can be configured to different types of meteorological monitoring data for the collection, transmission, display, analysis and other related operations. While recording the environmental data, the data is analyzed and the line chart is displayed, which is convenient for different types of environment.The meteorological monitoring platform is stable, which is convenient for users to add and manage monitor nodes. The proposed system solved real-time data sharing problem in the current meteorological monitoring system. The system can be used to build the meteorological station, and to provide a solution for the weather bureau.
