Currently, all areas of our country is at a critical period of rapid development, themacroeconomic situation will continue to grow fast, the trends constrained by resource andenvironmental has not fundamentally changed, and the task about environmental protectionand economic development in optimizing is still very arduous. This project comes from thedeployment projects (KZZD-EW-09-3) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and theNational Science and Technology Support Program (2012BAC25B01) funded project. Itrequires real-time monitoring microbial concentration through a wireless network toprovide reference for water quality and pollution. The development of wireless sensornetworks, especially the emergence of ZigBee wireless communication technology,provides a new solution for establishing a wireless waters microbial concentrationmonitoring. This paper presents the design and implementation of microbial concentrationmonitoring systems, which realizes microbial sensor data collected by ZigBee wirelesstechnology. This paper main job is as follows:Firstly, this paper introduces the research background, summarizes the research statusof IoT, and analyzes the potential advantages of ZigBee technology in microbialconcentration monitoring. According to the actual needs of the microorganism sensor datamonitoring,it has completed of the overall system design and verification, determined thehardware and software structure and custom communication frame format, and definedeach component module functional and design requirements.Secondly, according to the design requirements of the system hardware modules, thepaper has completed schematic and PCB board design of NUC120master module,schematics CC2530RF module, WiFi wireless communication module and high-precisionADC acquisition module. These modules are produced and tested. Through combination ofthese modules, the data aggregation node and data collection node are made.Finally, through programming for NUC120master board and CC2530RF board, thesystem has achieved ZigBee wireless networks communication and microbial sensor datacollecting. The system monitoring software has realized the control with data acquisitionnode and sensor data storage, display and processing. The system monitoring software isdeveloped by LabVIEW.Experimental results show that the system can meet the requirements of microbialsensor data acquisition, completely replace the existing paper-based recorder. The system has features of running stable, reliable data communications, high accuracy, and goodexpansibility. It possesses some new and original design and good promotional valueapplication.
