The Sixth National Census shows that there are 6,670,000 children in short state and12,000,000 children in obesity. And the number of children in short state or being over-weight is sharply increasing. Height and weight are two important puberty features. It can be effective to know the children and adolescents' physical development if we measure and analyze children and teenagers' height and weight. Based on the data of height and weight, we can effectively intervene children and teenagers' growth problem to ensure that they can grow healthier.By measuring children and teenagers' height and weight, the height and weight data management system researched in this dissertation calculates BMI(Body Mass Index) and compares and analyzes the height and weight with Chinese Children and Adolescents Growth Reference Standard issued by China Ministry of Health in September 2009. This system will inform the user about his health state and give him some reasonable suggestions about healthy diet and exercise to protect children from being in short and reduce the number of over-weight teens.This dissertation deeply analyzes the state of growth and development of children and adolescents in our country and briefly introduces the hardware system of height analyzer and scales. And it also introduces the software of height and weight system in detail which is based on Android system. This dissertation also conduct a comprehensive test with hardware system and software system. The main contents involved are as follows:(1) This dissertation introduced the growth and development of children and adolescents of our country, analyzed the importance of index of height and weight during the growth period and clarified the problems of short height and obesity of children and adolescents which can be prevented and intervened. This dissertation also briefly introduced the development status and trends of intelligent hardware.(2) This dissertation designed the overall program of height and weight data management system which includes the selection of intelligent hardware and the framework design ofsoftware system. This dissertation also introduced some technologies involved in the system.(3) This dissertation clarified the hardware of height analyzer and scales.(4) This dissertation analyzed the development needs of the application and programmed the application which is based on Android system. The application's functions focus on three different third-party login and register and authority ways, multi-users management, multiple bluetooth devices connected to one smart phone, receiving and analyzing data, saving data to local and cloud and so on.(5) This dissertation tested the application totally by combining hardware with software.These tests include module test, system test and third-party platform test. And it indicated this height and weight data management system can work normally and achieved the intended target.Technical innovations of this dissertation are as follows:(1) Used smart phone as interactive and computing tool, it can simplify the complexity of intelligent hardware design and reduce the cost of hardware manufacture.(2) Based on BaaS(Backend as a Service) and using third-party platforms such as Lean Cloud, Mob and IFly Tek, it dose not need to build server which means less time and lower development cost.
