The power supply monitoring plays an important role in the enterprise's power supply system, which ensures the stable operation of the industrial production. With the increasing size of enterprise power supply system, the demand for power supply monitoring is also higher and higher. Some small and medium sized enterprise power supply system has the equipment communication protocol is not unified, the data transmission speed is too slow, the traditional power supply monitoring program unable to meet its needs. Under this background, it is significant to study the power supply monitoring system of small and medium enterprisesThis thesis takes the power supply system of a small and medium-sized enterprise as the research object, and fully consider the particularity of the power supply system of small and medium enterprises. Firstly, the thesis analyzes the requirement of power supply monitoring system. The advantages and disadvantages of different communication protocol conversion schemes are discussed in view of the problem of not uniform communication protocol of the field equipment. On the basis of this, the three layer network model of CAN->485-> Ethernet of power supply monitoring system is built, and the system respond speed is accelerated. Then, the thesis studies the design of the application layer protocol of the CAN network in the power supply monitoring system, and designs a CAN bus application layer communication protocol for this application. In order to find out the reason of equipment fault, a fault processing method based on fault record is put forward. Finally, this thesis introduces the realization of the system, including the system network construction and software and hardware design. At present, the system has been in the industry for a long time, running results show that the performance of all aspects of the system has reached the expected goal.
