Switching power supply as a very important role in electronic systems, which bears on energy conversion, processing and conditioning of tasks. It’s widely used in aerospace, communications, nuclear power and other fields. The health of the switching power supply of the electronic system has a decisive role. Performance degradation and failure of internal components is the root cause of the switching power supply performance changes. The dielectric filter capacitor and the optocoupler are very important components to the switching power supply. Predict the failure of the dielectric filter capacitor and the optocoupler has a major engineering significance.The main research projects is researching the performance degradation of filter capacitor and optocoupler in Switching power supply. According to the research achievements of many experts and scholars, I derived to determine the degradation of parameters monitoring and data acquisition program. Electrolyte filter capacitance degradation by the equivalent series resistance(ESR), which affect the Ripple voltage of the-Switching-power-supply’s output. The optocoupler is degraded by the current transfer ratio(CTR). CTR affects the performance of the feedback loop of switching power supply, which affect the instantaneous oscillation frequency of the-Switching-power-supply’s output. Monitoring the-switching-power-supply’s ripple voltage and transient oscillation can ensure its deterioration and malfunction.On the basis of established data collection programs, I created a device-failure model of the filter electrolyte capacitors and optocoupler device by the key components for deterioration test. For the electrolytic filter capacitor, the ESR and ripple voltage amplitude is linear relationship. For the optocouplers, the relationship between the CTR and the shock pulse number is a quadratic curve. According to the failure model of critical components performance degradation, I targeted development failure monitoring system of the electrolyte filter capacitor and the optocoupler. Finally, I designed the key signal monitoring circuit, and predicted the performance degradation of switching power supply.
