Research On The Propagation Of Large Scale Outdoor Reality TV Program In The Media Era

It has been sixteen years since reality shows appeared on TV in China in the 21 st century. Those shows play an important role in television entertainment field in current china day by day. Reality shows, especially big-scale out-door reality shows, enrich culture life, improve rating in television variety shows and promote economic and social benefit, by their particular attraction. With the development of internet and technology, it is the era of new media. New media route of transmission are the mainstay in all industry. We-media, one more communicative new media, are changing the characteristics of communication for our out-door reality shows gradually besides our life.We-media is a sword with two blades. It increases rating and interact with audience frequently regard of the limitation of time and space. On the other hand, it brings side effects, such as degradation and homogenization. A better understanding about characteristics of we-media and the role it played in transmission will be helpful to improve reality shows.This thesis discusses the transmission characteristics of one out-door reality show, where are we going dad, based on wei-bo with 5W mode. The aim is to find the deficiencies in the content of program transmission by qualitative analysis and the strategies to solve the deficiencies.The first part is to investigate the ways of transmission on wei-bo.The second part is to analyze target population of disseminator and receiver on wei-bo.The third part is to analyze program content and effect on where are we going dad on wei-bo through quantitative analysis, discuss the deficiencies in our reality shows and find strategies improve programs.
