Technology Foresight used to describe the vision of the future, and give advices to administrator's performance. A lot of states have implemented technology foresight,include Japan, U.K, China and so on. Among a variety of technology foresight methods, Delphi survey is the most widely used method.However, Delphi survey is so complex that it will take a long time to do it. Besides, so many people needed in Delphi survey, it usually be implemented by government or large scientific institutions. On the oppose side, quantitative is very popular in Individual researchers and small group. Nowadays, under the background of “big data”, a lot of software such as Cite Space and VOS Viewer are used in quantitative study. These soft wares are used to do deeper data mining so it can help to make quantitative results well. In recent years, it has become a hot topic.In this paper, we use Cite Space to analysis the data of CNKI articles form 2005~2014. By crate key words co-occurrence patterns and burst detection,we find the research front of Optoelectronic field.Studies have shown that the fields of optoelectronic are most likely to produce technological breakthroughs in the field of optical fiber transmission, spectroscopy, and high-frequency laser.The main technologies of technical fiber conduction are fiber grating temperature and pressure sensors in special circumstances, high-speed large-capacity optical fiber grating demodulator, all-optical fiber ring structure, photonic crystal fiber. Spectroscopy main cutting edge technology is the near-infrared spectroscopy, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, femtosecond laser. The main cutting edge technology of high frequency laser solid-state lasers, diode-pumped nd: yag green lasers, high-power semiconductor laser light source, a laser diode end-pumped temperature tm, ho: ylf continuous solid-state lasers, graphene can absorb passively mode-locked super saturation soon the whole solid-state lasers.In the end of the paper, we take the solar energy industry of Wuhan for example, to show how further analysis can Cite Space do in technology foresight. Using the keyword of Cite Space formed in patents, you can filter out the more critical the patented technology development potential of Wuhan solar industry in nearly three years,.In addition, this paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of technology foresight and the Delphi method of measurement methods. Result shows that the measurement method and Delphi are different in scope and authority, etc., which can be mutually exclusive research, it can put out a good complement. In addition, the paper also use Cite Space tools for text mining to make a comparison with the traditional measurement methods, showing that the use of Cite Space software with a more intuitive and easy to read, find it more comprehensive and more excellent fit in with other methods on performance characteristics.
