With the development of the size of smart grid network, the type and quantity of network elements (smart meters, smart terminal equipment, etc.) is also continue to increase, thus leading to the rapid growth of complexity of the entire smart grid network. In addition, considering to the situation that there are many shortage in scalability, reusability and maintainability of the current AMI project of smart grid network, so how to design a system which can support the dynamic expansion, high maintenance and modular deployment, and can effectively manage the operational status of smart devices, real-time dynamicly collect and monitor the equipment performance indicator data, accurately grasp the historical performance trends of system to prevent malfunction is the core content of this thesis.The deign and implementation of smart grid network performance management platform is the main research content of this thesis.The main design idea of this thesis is apply the performance management system of traditional network to the smart grid AMI project,and the design of the performance management subsystem is based on the OSGi specification, which means that the system should be divided into many Bundle modules whit the help of OSGi framework to increase the reusability. This system also provide a common internal message service for the communication of different modules to ensure the flexibility. What's more, this performance management system ensure modular development with a software architecture level up, and use the design pattern that called programming interface oriented to implement the system, which leading to the system become more plug-in, modular, dynamic, and service-oriented.The performance management system has a characteristic that all function features of the system can be loaded and unloaded flexibly, and it also can be developed in a custom plug-ins way.This thesis focuses on the project background of the smart grid network performance management system, firstly introduce both key frame technology and research status of the smart grid field network performance management, then design the logic architecture and Bundle components division in a overall way. The whole system can be divided into four modules, which include performance data collection module, performance data processing module, data monitoring and alarming module, performance data display module. In addition, the thesis also design all the business functions of the modules in details, which include performance collection task management, performance indicators template management, data aggregation, data dump, performance threshold alarms, performance real-time monitoring, historical performance management and other business functions. Finally, it introduce detail implementation and test of the system, also analyse the limitations of the current system and give some suggestion that can be improved in the future, which provides a practical design solution for performance management in smart grid field.
