Early education has a significant influence on the growth of children.However,with life rhythm accelerating,most young parents are so busy that they can’t pay enough time and energy on education and escort of infants and young children.With the steady development of robot technology,it is time for the development of intelligent robot with functions of early education,chaperonage and entertainment.Being wisdom enlightenment and growth company of infants and young children,early education and chaperonage robot can greatly reduce the pressure and burden of young parents and provide a good solution to the contradiction between the education of their children and their work.This paper mainly design and develop the software system of intelligent early education and chaperonage robot.Based on the extensive research of early education and chaperonage robot from all over the world,along with the use case elicitation tools,this paper captures the functional requirements of users to the early education robot.Furthermore,the design principle of early education and chaperonage robot,the overall design scheme of robot and the choice of the system development platform and technology was made from the perspective of availability,expansibility,openness and stability.As the key step of the process of software development,software requirement analysis mostly determines the final quality of software system.This paper analyzes the software requirements of the robot systematically from four different levels—the business requirements,user needs,functional requirements and non-functional requirements.The use case model for the user needs was made,and then a detailed introduction to user management,intelligent accompany,tele-homecare,message push,motion control was given based on the activity diagram and use case specification table.Based on the requirement analysis and orientation of user requirements,a layer structure of the software system was presented and divided into five modules—user management module,intelligent accompany module,tele-homecare module,message push module,and local monitoring module respectively.The communication protocol is designed according to the data requirements and interface relations between modules.This paper also completes the system data structure design including XML design and database design.The implementation of each module was conducted eventually with specific implementation process or key code.This paper realizes the user management by using database;implements multiple clients login,video transmission and remote control through C/S architecture;designs the scheme of speech recognition and synthesis by the voice technology of the IFLYTEK;realizes the cursory sensing of user’s emotion by the emotion keywords matching algorithm;achieve the robot control and status query by Bluetooth technology;accomplishes the cloud push of server message which collapses the distance between the developers and users.A large number of experiments and test results show that the software system of early education and chaperonage robot designed by this paper has the features as follows:good stability,high practicality,strong expansibility and friendly interface which can meet the needs of most families for the early education and chaperonage robot and has great promotion application value.
