In today’s society, science and technology is developing rapidly. Along with thesocial productivity growth and greatly enhance national income, people’s livingstandards have reached a new stage. Meanwhile, people’s desire for knowledge ismushrooming. According to the three-year plan of pre-school education(year2011-2013), only in Shanghai, the more developed region in education, the number ofchildren who start school will reach about500,000in2013so that all kinds ofkindergarten will generally face greater pressure. On the other hand, more than10,000preschool teachers are needed, especially those highly educated and receivedprofessional training. Therefore, network education platform, as a new teachingpattern, is of great significance. Without the limits of time and space, it can offer theexcellent educational resources to a maximal number of people, thus relieving thepressure of education greatly.In such a background, this article designs and performs an intelligent preschooleducation platform. Having adopted the B/S Mode in the overall structure, all theadvantages of SQL and the technology of ASP, the platform realizes the visit and queryto the database. First of all, the article analyzes the requirements of the platform’scapabilities and functions. Secondly, the article analyzes all the key techniques involvedin the system and draw the relevant DFD and E-R, on which a detailed description ofthe using of database and the design of data table structure are based. Thirdly, thearticle makes a comprehensive description on the platform that is divided into frontsystem module and background system module. The end of the article is about thefunction test of the platform, including arranging the courses automatically andmanually, on-line monitor, test results query, students information management,knowledge base management, e-mail management as well as data backup andrestoration. The various test results show this intelligent preschool education platformfunctions stably, responses quickly and guarantees data security. It will surly contributeto China’s preschool education.
