In the era of rapid development of Internet technology, robots have become an indispensable part of people's daily production and life. With the development of artificial intelligence technology and the increasingly severe social problems such as population aging and rising labor costs, robots have not only been confined to the field of industrial production but have been developed to serve the broader family, business and other living services.Children accompany robot is an important branch in the field of home and personal intelligent service robots and plays a very important role in the future intelligent home life.In order to make children company robot's form design and function interaction accord with children's physiological and psychological development needs more, this paper takes the design of children company robot as an example.Firstly, understanding the basic concept, control mode, movement mode and function structure of intelligent service robot fully; And then makes a detailed research and investigation on the cognitive characteristics of children's physical, psychological, behavioral and other aspects; Finally, from the perspective of children's use,it makes human design, modular design theory as a guiding principle and redesign the appearance of children accompany robot. The overall program design language of the company robot is based on cuteness. The color scheme is adapted according to different functions and usage scenarios. The company robot fully mobilizes sensory organs such as hands, eyes and mouth when interacting with the user(children);the modular design method is applied to the structural design, which provides important design references for the appearance and design of children's companion robot in the future.
