Airborne gravimetry is an effective method to collect highly precise information about large areas of the Earth's gravity field. With the advantages of economy, efficiency, convenience and flexibility, it has wide application prospects and development space. In the context of the application of airborne gravimetry, the data acquisition and control system for strapdown airborne gravimeter is implemented. The main contents and innovations are as follows:Based on the theory of airborne gravimetry, the system structure is determined. Data acquisition and control system hardware architecture based on FPGA+MCU+DSP and systems solutions are designed, and the hardware design of the embedded systems is accomplished.Modules in the FPGA are designed to realize various functions. Real-time acquisition and time synchronization for multi-sensor data are achieved. Then data stream control, data storage and raw data transmission for real-time calculation are realized, Also, the modules of file management which cooperates with MCU to finish the file management is implemented. The module test results show that each function unit works properly, and the time synchronization accuracy meets the requirements of airborne gravimetry system.The MCU subsystem, the navigation computer subsystem and the monitoring subsystem are implemented. Cooperating with FPGA, functions such as hard disk management, embedded file manager and data transmission through USB are realized by MCU system. Reliable attitude information is provided as a result of real-time calculation in the SINS/GPS integrated system. During system runtime, the data and system operation are monitored in real time.The indoor and outdoor experiments are carried out. Experimental results show that the data acquisition and control system designed in this thesis performs reliably and stably and has strong environment adaptability. The multi-sensor data frame and attitude information which is real-time calculated with high precision are acquired and stored accurately. Moreover, files can be transmitted stably and conveniently with high speed, and monitoring system performs well to reflect the data and system operation exactly in real time.The research work and the research results of hardware and software obtained in this thesis have important and practical value for the application of strapdown airborne gravity measurement system.
