Product design and development is of strategic significance for the success of the modern enterprise.However,with the intensifying of market competition,the traditional market-oriented product development strategy has been hard to gain a foothold in the market,"user-centric" has become the mainstream ideology in the process of modern enterprise product research and development.Meanwhile,with the rapid development of economy,People’s needs in the material level is satisfied,and began to pursue a higher level of spiritual needs.Under this background,the product appearance design based on perceptual image gradually get people’s attention.The perceptual images from product is complex and diverse,fuzzy,in order to make up for the shortage of design based on single perceptual image,meet the needs of multiple perceptual images.This paper presents a systematic method for multiple perceptual images.To meet consumer demand for multiple perceptual images and meet the users’ emotional expectations to the maximum extent,This paper mainly completed the following research work:(1)Firstly,this paper establish the correspondence between design elements and the single images by BP neural network,then It determined the weight of imageries in customer requirements by Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP)method and superiority chart.Sorting calculated multiple perceptual images by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS)of different combinations of design elements.Finally we obtain optimal multi-image design of the target population.(2)To obtain reasonable images weight,and make up the subjective bias may be present in the of AHP weight calculation.We sort the sample by weighted images and superiority chart respectively,and judge the rationality of the images weights by comparing the consistency of two sorting.(3)In order to verify the feasibility of this method,taking 3D printing design as an example to analysis and calculate the optimal multi-Image design.To realize multiple-image selection,this paper mainly completed the following research work:(1)The fuzzy theory is introduced into the process of multi-image evaluation,an integrated model based on factor analysis Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process(FAHP)and Fuzzy Similarity to Ideal Solution(FTOPSIS)is proposed.(2)To solve the uncertainty and vagueness included in weight evaluation procedure,linguistic terms are used to convert Importance evaluation to fuzzy triangular numbers during the evaluation process and FAHP method is utilized to obtain the weights of evaluation criteria.In order to rank the fuzzy image,Linguistic variables is used to evaluate the product images.The FTOPSIS method is used to calculate the relative closeness degree between the programs and the ideal solution,and determine the final ranking of the alternatives.(3)The case study with the small 3D printer show that the method was feasible and reasonable in the multi-image evaluation.
