Along with worsening of the environmental quality of our earth, people have paid more and more attention on industrial gas emissions, it also brought excellent opportunities for development and application of electrostatic precipitator. In recent years, the ESP has been extensively used in construction, power, metallurgy, cement and other industries, to address dust contamination problems. Electrostatic precipitators play an important role in reducing air pollution and cut emissions of industrial dust, protect the ecological environment, and many other aspects. After air pollutant emission standards improved, only high-efficiency and low energy consumption of the electrostatic precipitator can respond to the needs of the market and the environment.This paper mainly has introduced the researches of ESP in the world, and analyzed the mechanism of reverse corona electric precipitator and the principle of pulse power supply inhibition against anti-corona. Then, a design using the dc superposition of high voltage pulse power supply and resonant pulse generating has been established. The principle of pulse generating circuit and the design of circuit parameter has introduced in detail. And in order to support the work of the main circuit, control circuit, detection module and man-machine interactive touch screen control has been designed. Meanwhile, we also developed a series of suitable for industrial application of high-efficiency electrostatic precipitator. In view of the practical application of electrostatic precipitator, we have done debugging experiment of the dc superposition, and confirmed the function and reliability of the system.
