After the deep investigation and total analyzing of typical cases, this article points out that the core problem in mistakenly building the image of the elderly lies in the conflict of politics, economy and culture between TV news feature and the elderly. What's more, it caused by our traditional culture and stereotype of the elderly.Besides analyzing of our traditional Television Program, the article contrasts the news about the elderly between Television Station in Japan and in China. And it shows that the Images of the elderly constructed by the television program in two countries are different which comes from the difference in the concept of news transmission, the legal system of news transmission and the elderly rights.
