NPR (Non-Photorealistic Rendering, NPR) has been gotten more and more people's attention, NPR in oil painting, pencil drawing and landscape painting and other stylized rendering technology has been more mature, as bringing people visual impact. Yunnan Batik, which is folk manual printing and dyeing crafts in Yunnan minority areas, has a unique new pattern. There is not found for any study of the digital synthesis of Yunnan batik. Paper uses Yunnan Batik for the first time as the research object, from batik basic elements, line drawing, batik crack simulation and cloth simulation, and other digital synthesis technology to start research, designs and develops an interactive digital synthesis Yunnan batik painting system.Batik is one of the three printing techniques in ancient China. Batik is a process of using a wax knife dipped wax on me painted flowers on the cloth after disseminating Natural Indigo. When both dyed and waxed, cloth is showing blue bottom white or white flowers of a variety of patterns. At the same time, in the dip, as the resistant's wax cracking of natural, cloth surface presents a special "ice pattern", especially attractive. Batik patterns is a rich composition in the form of substantially symmetrical up and down or left and right combination of simple but elegant color, style, for the production of apparel products and various real life, it is simple and generous, full of national characteristics. At present, the existing research methods of batik crack simulation result is not too ideal, there is no computer simulation for the operation of wax's cover, almost has not been achieved digital synthesis of batik painting. There is no a complete digital synthesis system, too. The research results are an important supplement of Yunnan batik painting style and the protection of digital cultural heritage.Based on the actual production process of Yunnan batik painting, an interactive Yunnan batik painting digital synthesis method is proposed, including the following aspects:1. Two methods of batik line drawing. The first method is interactive line drawing. This paper extracts the basic graphic elements from the real Yunnan batik painting. Use cardinal spline curve modeling to realize the extraction of graphic elements. Then, build batik graphics library, select the appropriate combination of graphical elements and a series of visualization, complete line drawing batik drawing. The second method is based on the automated line drawing diagram drawing edge extraction method, based on the paper flow Gaussian difference algorithm, real batik pattern binary edge made to achieve the automation drawing line drawing.2. The simulation of line drawing's cover wax and batik crack. The diffuse water filling algorithm based on the color scope and the flag is used in this paper to realize the simulation of covering wax in the line drawing. The distance transform algorithms based on water diffuse is used, batik crack is simulated in wax area of line drawing.3. Realization of cloth texture background and color fusion based multiplication. Paper uses an improved method of block-based texture synthesis to simulate cloth background texture. By using the method of multiplication, we realize the color fusion between the cloth background texture and the batik crack. And we realize digital synthesis of batik painting.Experimental results show that by using the proposed method, the system generates a realistic Yunnan batik painting composite image.
