Batik spread widely in minority areas of China.Cloths are immersed into plant dye after drawing with beeswax,and patterns will be kept by removing beeswax.Batik cracks will be produced because of cracks in beeswax.NPR is used to simulate western art styles,Chinese art styles and Yunnan art styles and a series of research achievements have been got.Focusing on pattern acquisition,cracks production and dye,main works and contributions of this paper are as follows:(1)A batik drawing system is realized.A batik drawing system is realized.Lines of patterns are obtained by point manner,and cardinal spline curve is used to fit lines.Decorative border library,geometric library and curve library are constructed,and page-segment-curve model is used in management.(2)A morphing algorithm is presented to generate pattern automaticallyAn automatic algorithm is presented to generate batik p(?)erns.Line is described by length,and data structures and operations of lines are designed.Target patterns can be gain after modifying and matching control points and graphic morphing.(3)Existing crack generation algorithm is improved.We improve previous algorithm and propose a real time distance-transform algorithm based on flooding.The distribution of cracks is improved by using probability method;the shape of cracks is improved by using shape modifying method;bold effect is improved by using compound cross distance.Batik dyeing without cloth characteristics is simulated by using multiplicative color model.(4)Generation algorithm of parallel cracks is presented based on extended finite element methodThis paper describes crack extension using fracture mechanics,crack tip field theory,Griffith theory,and Maximum Circumferential Stress Intensity Factor theory.Partition of unity method and level set method are used to describe cracks.Parallel cracks are generated by using extended finite element method,and their visual characteristics are showed.(5)Batik dyeing with cloth characteristics is simulated based on diffusionThis paper presents batik cloth model which consisted of wax layer and cloth layer,and batik dyeing with cloth characteristics is simulated.A three-layer model which consisted of warp,weft and penetration layer is constructed to describe batik cloth,and parameters are defined in penetration and diffusion.Diffusion differential equation in which consider supply,diffusion and absorption based on Fick's second low is constructed for simulating the diffusion of dye,and this equation is discretized.(6)Applying Perlin noise into crack generating and batik dyeingDiscuss the principle and generating method of Perlin noise,and design generating algorithm which used in batik simulation.Perlin noise is added to width of cracks,so that "smooth random" is realized,and dizzy dye is simulated because of Perlin noise.The drawing system in this paper can be used to design patterns conveniently,and new patterns can be produced by morphing algorithm.Honeycomb cracks and parallel cracks with good shapes can be generanted using methods in this paper.Batik can be simulated effectively by dyeing methods and crack generating methods which are added Perlin noise.
