Non-photorealistic rendering (NPR) is an important research topic in current computer graphics, computer vision and computer art domain. NPR has extremely extensive application in digital art, television and entertainment, machinery and architectural design, medicine, etc, being paid close attention by both domestic and abroad researchers, and gave a lot of research achievements. It has become one of hot spots.The thesis takes Shaoguang Ding heavy color painting as research object, which is full of national stylized characters. Owing to Yunnan heavy color painting pays attention to the interaction between reality and abstract and the distinctive characters of Chinese national line drawing and the Western gorgeous color, the thesis imitates and realize the generation of the skin texture, clothes texture and background of Yunnan heavy color painting by the means of Multi-frequency noise for LIC (Line Integral Convolution) andⅡ_FFT(Integral Image_Fast Fourier Transform) texture synthesis algorithm. Experiment shows that NPR is useful to stylize the Yunnan color painting, and some results are given.First and foremost, the thesis summarizes the technology of NPR. Then, the background and meaning of the study on stylizing the Yunnan heavy color painting are analyzed, meanwhile, ways to solve the key problem in which are proposed.Secondly, a multi-frequency noise for LIC algorithm is proposed to simulate specific point -patch texture of Yunnan heavy color painting. By doing mean value filter for single high frequency noise, we can attain different particle low frequency noise. And then, we do LIC between the synthetic multi frequency based on value distribute and vector filed to generate point-patch texture with different size. In order to simulate the mixed color effect of point-patch texture, two mixing color model are proposed in RGB and HSV color space. Experiment shows that the two mixing color can imitate the mixing color effect of point-patch texture, making it full of strong expression.Last but not least, in order to overcome the problem of low synthesis speed when using the Image Quilting Algorithm to synthesis the texture, the thesis proposesⅡ_FFT accelerated texture synthesis algorithm, the algorithm imports the idea of Integral Image and Fast Fourier Transform, which can reduce directly computed SSD (Sum of Squared Differences) error calculation quantity when traversal search optimal synthesis block in the overlapped area, increasing the synthesis speed observably. Promotion rate of the speed is associated with the texture synthesis parameters. In addition, the larger the texture sample image, the faster the synthesis speed ofⅡ_FFT algorithm will be. At the same time, the texture synthesis technology can effectively simulate the skin texture, the clothes texture and the background texture of the Yunnan heavy color painting, which speeds up the process of Yunnan heavy color painting stylized rendering.
