With the development of computer hardware and software, the development ofcomputer graphics has achieved great success. Non-photorealistic rending is a newsubject in Computer Graphics, and gradually become a hot research topic.Non-photorealistic rending is the technology not to generate the realistic pictures, mainly the manual style, making the image more vivid and interesting. Researcherscontinue to try for a variety of art styles, such as water painting, oil painting, inkpainting, point painting, and line drawing. It has been used more and more widely, and applied adequately in the industrial design, medical field, film, televisionadvertisement, animation, virtual reality and so on.Based on the research of line drawing algorithm, we combine stereo vision dataand the algorithm, strengthening the effect of line drawing style. Main thesis includes:(1) the paper simply introduces the research background and significance ofnon-photorealistic rending, summarizes the development situation domestic andoverseas, and introduces the development of the non-photorealistic rending in detailaccording to several kinds of art style;(2) the paper introduces a classics line drawing algorithm, also researches theEdge Tangent Flow(ETF) and Flow-based Difference of Gaussians method, and basedon these generate the line drawings.(3) the paper studies the method of acquiring depth data based on binocularstereo vision, analysis the depth map and extract the depth line. Then, we combine thedepth line and the line of the original gray, to get a strengthen line drawing rending, and colorful line drawing. Finally, we study the background subtraction based ondepth and line drawing enhancement based on the normal of depth.
