In recent years, the degree of aging of the population has further deepened. Heart disease, hypertension and fever and other diseases is common in the elderly people. These types of diseases correspond to the body's three physiological parameters: pulse, blood pressure and body temperature, through accurately and timely measurement of these three parameters, these three diseases can be prevented. In traditional medical care, the mostly used way to measure these physiological parameter is that the nurse has to regularly measure the patient face to face, and for some relatively poverty areas, manual measurements are mostly used, that will not only reduce the health care efficiency but also the care effect will be influenced.In recent years, with the rise of sensor technology, the development of wireless communication technologies and wireless sensor networks, their applications in the medical field are more and more deeply, bringing a new thinking of medical monitoring based on wireless sensor network communication technology.Based on the low complexity, portable, low-cost, high-precision system requirements, this paper presents a monitoring system based on ZigBee wireless network. In recent years, ZigBee technology, one of the short-distance wireless communication technologies, is widely used in most fields. The advantages of ZigBee technology are: low complexity, low power consumption and low cost. The system collect the patient's three basic indicators of physiological parameters like temperature, blood pressure, pulse through the sensor module, and then transport the collected data to the PC by ZigBee wireless network, so the nurse can accurately understand the status of the patient through the visual interface, and then take further medical care with the data.This paper introduces the research background, the research purpose and significance of the subject, analyze the current status of the monitoring system and the development of the wireless sensor networks, describe the development of the telemedicine at home and abroad, then put forward the theme of this paper.This paper analyses and compare the modern mainstream short-distance wireless communication technologies, according to the system requirements, ZigBee technology is selected as the wireless communication technology of this system, on the base of this, put forward the overall scheme of the system, select a mesh network topology to build ZigBee wireless internet. In the hardware section, the node scheme is based on CC2530 RF transceiver chip, and the sensors in the terminal node are DS18B20 sensor, MPX2100 sensor, AD8232 sensor, the master chip is STM32F103 chip, the advantages of this chip are low power consumption and big storage space, which are consistent with the system design requirements; the software part, select IAR Embedded Workbench as the development platform, set up a ZigBee wireless sensor network, realize the initialization of the hardware circuit and Stack, and transmit the data between the hardware and software section with the serial port; the function of the PC is to illustrate the data.Finally, with the debugging and running of the monitoring system, the result is that the accuracy of this system has reached up to 98%, and the standby time up to several months. At the same time, summarize the problems of the system, and describe the improvements and expansion of this system in the future.
