With the rapid development of society and technology, the application about IOT become more widespread. From smart home, intelligent transportation to the construction of smart and safe city, IOT plays an important role. Because of this, many colleges and universities introduced IOT specialized subject. Like with embedded professional, the student of this subject need more practice opportunities to learn well. Therefore this paper will design a suite of Internet of Things comprehensive training platform. From hardware selection, system development to software application design, this paper will detail all aspects of the IOT development process.The platform which this paper designs is based on actual demand and meets the needs of research and development of IOT. In hardware, the paper uses the gateway platform which encapsulates Cortex-A9 master controller and this gateway platform integrates many common interfaces including USB, UART serial ports, audio input and output ports and so on. And the paper uses TI's CC2530 chip as the main control chip of wireless sensing module. The module integrates many extensions, such as the perception of temperature and humidity, light intensity detection, gesture recognition, GPS satellite positioning, perception of smoke, sound perception. And it also provides some common monitoring and identification equipment to meet the need of design and development. On the software system, this paper describes the development of applications based on Linux systems and development of the wireless sensing module. System applications relate specifically to the migration about Linux, the data communication between the platform and the sensor, the database migration on the Linux system, the video capture based V4L2 protocol in Linux system and the identification and usage of third-party USB devices in Linux System. The paper adopts the ZigBee wireless protocol to complete the formation of the wireless sensor network.This paper provides an integral networking integrated training platform for the learners, ranging from hardware to software systems development and design. This will provide great help in study of IOT. And we hope that learners can get more relevant knowledge about IOT from this platform.
