With the rapid development of the information technology which is based on the internet communications,nowadays new media are emerging.The new emerging media such as the popular applications for example micro-blog,Wechat,and other client applications has been widely favored by the general public,mainly due to its instant transmission,using convenience,and huge capacity of information.During this trend,the news spreading has becoming a timely,boundaryless,and interactive communicating process,hence,the audience reading behavior and habits under the original paper media environment actually has been changed by the new emerging media.The importance of media convergence to give people more and more consensus.Under this background,more and more traditional media has turned to joint development,to form newspaper groups,to embrace new technologies,and to innovate ways of reporting.Meanwhile,the media mergence between the traditional and the new emerging form is growing in various forms—at the early stages,establishment of news website,then cooperation between website and newspapers in the form of website based newspaper special columns,and nowadays the online newspapers,etc.In the past 20 years,the domestic newspaper groups have accumulated human and financial resources,and technical and operational experiences.Their communication business stands on their core newspapers as frameworks on which different media forms,various reporting channels cover other newspapers,magazines and associated websites are based.Further more,these newspaper groups are also developing to comprehensive cultural industry corporation and find their way in publishing,video,animation,education,real estate,and investment.The Henan Daily Press Group(HNDPG)expands and develops the business based on the core newspaper brand "Henan Daily" which is a provincial newspaper of the CPC.Newspaper groups is an important way of promoting the print media and new media integration development."Media convergence"from inside the HNDPG,both within the group,the interactions between multiple media integration include single media with their own set up the linkage of the new media platform to cooperate;From the external view,group the profit pattern of this integration is constantly expanding newspaper capital,connected the news production and capital operation,with its brand strength,actively involved in other industries,expand cooperation projects,to enhance the core competitiveness of the press,so that it is in an impregnable position.The future development of the HNDPG should be the content of the paper media do fine,fine form serialization business;Constantly make groups of other newspapers,network and other different media resources,brand,transmission channel Shared use,play the linkage effect of the media platform,to eliminate the boundaries of the media,improve the effect of the influence of transmission.On this basis,relying on the power of the group advantage to expand the influence and popularity of the news media platform and continue to expand,such as real estate,education,logistics,and other forms of capital operation scale and profit platform,for users and entrance,and profit.At the same time,to be reckoned with emerging media such as mobile Internet terminals and transmission channel of the development potential,and actively make their own client and other new media platforms,with high quality information content increase audience viscous.Since the media mergence theory is newly introduced in China,the related domestic research is at the stage of trial and exploration,and systematic researches are rarely seen.Therefore,under the circumstance of more and more traditional media are establishing combined newspaper groups,the work of this dissertation is aiming to review the process of the media merging in the HNDPG,in order to provide an effective path for the future development of the HNDPG,and wish to offer reference to other paper media in their grouping and integration development.
