Fire will not only bring significant economic losses,but also may endanger the safety of life.So how to effectively carry out fire prevention and warning of fire is particularly important.With the acceleration of industrialization and the progress of science and technology,the fire detection technology is developing with the development of intelligent,miniaturization and network oriented.Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional fire alarm and fire alarm system based on computer system,an image type fire alarm system based on Cortex-M4 ARM series is designed.The internal integration of image capture and compression of the serial port camera PTC08 is be applied as the image acquisition source.The 32-bit microprocessor STM32F407ZGT6 based on Cortex-M4 kernel is produced by the Semiconductor Corporation,as the embedded system hardware platform.The corresponding hardware circuit is designed in this system,and at the same time the PCB manufactures is completed and tested.Based on this platform,the practical application environment and the physical characteristics of flame have been analyzed,and feature of the flame color,flame angle,flame are extracted.Corresponding algorithms is designed for the recognition of flame image,and the corresponding micro controller software and the control computer software will be used for the realization of early fire detection and remote monitoring.Finally,the image Fire Alarm System Based on ARM Cortex-M4 Series is tested.Experiments make clear that the alarm system is not only high accuracy,real-time,on-site but also can achieve remote monitoring,early fire detection and alarm flame,thereby effectively reduce property damage and casualties.In the field of image type fire alarm,the system has a broad market prospect and application value.
