Research On Remote Measurement System Of Medium Voltage Power Line Channel Characteristics

The measurement of channel frequency characteristics of middle voltage power line mostly focuses on amplitude attenuation for long. But the researches on phase-frequency characteristics are few, and most of them are qualitative analysis. However, the channel frequency characteristics of middle voltage power line are of great significance for the deeply research on key technologies such as modulation and coding in medium voltage power line communication. Therefore, it is necessary to study the channel frequency characteristics of middle voltage power line in detail.This paper compares the measurement methods of channel frequency characteristics, analyzes the deficiency of the existing measurement methods, summarizes the major problem and key techniques of measurement methods of long-distance channel frequency characteristics, and proposes the measurement method of zero intermediate frequency quadrature demodulation based on GPS remote synchronization. The theory of the proposed method is described in detail, and verified in many different conditions by Simulink simulation software. Simulation results show that the proposed method is theoretical feasible.Firstly the whole scheme design of system on hardware is realized, various functions that the system needs to complete and concrete realization step is analyzed, and the circuit of transceiver terminal with EPM570 as core processor is designed. Then each part of the circuit design, circuit functions and selected devices have been introduced in detail.The experiment of the designed system is carried out. By experimental measurements, this paper confirms that the new intelligent distribution terminals meets the design requirements and achieves the desired effect.
