However, the scale of the power grid is bigger and bigger. Because of the standards of electrical equipment is different. And management of maintenance is not standard; the development of our country’s electric power carrier is hampered seriously. Therefore, the study of low voltage power carrier channel test is particularly important, and the noise characteristics and impedance characteristics are the two basic characteristics of power line channel. Further study of noise characteristics and impedance characteristics that will improve the quality of communication more targeted and feasibility.It is also very important significant. To study of the whole communication systemAccording to the characteristics of low voltage power line communication channel noise, we divided into two categories. We makes a simple discussion on noise model establishing in low power line carrier communication, solving parameters by LD algorithm, verifying the model, etc. Focus on low voltage power carrier channel noise characteristics, impedance characteristics, According to the established model of channel noise and actual data, Analysis noise and impedance data by using MATLAB powerful data processing ability,.analysis of the relationship between the scope of the impedance of the power line channel and impulse noise characteristics under the different environment, we found that and there is a corresponding relationship between the pulse noises, and low voltage power line impedance.To get real background noise data we isolated pulse noise from the actual data. By controlling the difference of power spectrum of the actual and the pure background noise, we determined the best model parameters, and reliability is verified. According to the model, and we can design a kind of test system software in VC6.0platform, which can well analysis channel noise characteristic parameters. In view of the low voltage power line carrier communication environment, we can get specific model parameters, through the test system and better understand the different environmental noise characteristics.
