In this paper, channel estimation for OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency DivisionMultiplexing) system in low-voltage power line communication is researched chiefly. First,the principle of OFDM technique is analyzed and the transmission system of OFDM isestablished. Second, based on the analysis of the low-voltage power line channel properties,the time-variant channel model of low-voltage power line (statistic autoregressive model) isoffered, and the OFDM system in low-voltage power line communication is presented andemulated. Then the research is focused on two kinds of channel estimation methods forOFDM system in low-voltage power line, including LMS adaptive channel estimation andblind estimation of channel based on second-order statistics. These methods are simulatedseparately in the OFDM simulation system for low-voltage power line, and improvement areoffered according to the properties of low-voltage power line. |
