Design And Implementation Of Educational Training Management Information System In Baosteel Educational Training Center

Baosteel Training center is a base which delivers and spreads the advanced steel knowledge and supports the development of Baosteel. The Educational Training MIS is a system which records all the training process such as the arrangement of the training, the teachers'information, and the expenses and so on, the system gives the support for the training development of Baosteel.This thesis introduces an application development mode which is based on workflow and Structs framework, and by this mode, the interface display layer has been separated from the business logic layer in the web application, which can achieve the effects that page design, process control and management are independent of each other which makes developers clear division of labor and improves development efficiency, it greatly inhances the system scalability and maintainability and quickly responds to the changes of demand in the future.First, this thesis analyzes system needs, and presents the general solution which takes plan making, implementation controlling and training implementation as main function modules. System function modules and database are designed in this thesis. In the system implementation process, the interfaces with the financial system as well as performance management module in implementation evaluation process are used as examples and their detail implementation are given. The system is constructed with J2EE architecture and structs technology, taking SQL Server 2000 as its database.The system has been tested and begins with the trial-run and turns out well. It has realized the core training process and improved the efficiency of the management which decreased the cost of training. The system has the ability to respond the needs of the system quickly than ever.
