In recent year, electronic equipment and network payment has become an integral part of people`s life with the wide application of computer internet information technology. Especially, financial acceptance equipment, such as ATM and CRS and POS and so on, can be seen everywhere in first-tier cities. They provide a lot of convenience to people`s life and are favored by the public. In short, financial internet has been playing a positive role in improving the payment and settlement environment, improving the level of financial services, promoting financial ecological optimization and promoting national economic development. However, there are many problems, such as the lack of financial resources, too scattered and inadequate financial services network and serious lack of self-service terminal, which seriously influence and restrict the people`s economy and life in some second-tier cities and the vast rural areas.In the light of several issues which the financial internet exists in a process of rural modernization construction, this paper has studied the design and implement of balance inquiry module of the financial self-service system. According to those situations which some middle-small banks are facing currently to are in rural area in part of provinces and cities in China, the dissertation has made a full analyses to demands of the system, and has introduced key technologies in a process that the balance inquiry module was implemented, which based on illustrating basic concepts, principle and methods of the system, and has analyzed business requirements and implement process of the module, and has modeled on the data and the process of the balance inquiry business of the system by using respectively entity relation diagram and data flow diagram, and has showed application architecture and composition structure of the system, and has explicated a communication mechanism and a safety mechanism and relative database design of the function module in the system, and has introduced some components and their dependent relation about the module, and has developed embedded application by make full use of Linux C language, and has implemented successfully the function module of balance inquiry and system integration, and has designed three types use cases which were about on alternative events, anomalous events and elementary events, and has had strictly a test and recorded result data on the function module of balance inquiry by making full use of these use cases while the system had a normal operation environment, and has made finally an analysis of the result data.Some results on the basis of such tests have showed that the system integrated has run stably and the operation of the balance has been normal, which has helped a vast amount of rural users to query quickly their account balance and has effectively improve the financial payment and settlement environment to achieve a predetermined design goals. At the same time, that has implemented and realized the call of the Party Central Committee to support the “three rural” economic development, and has made an importantly contribution to improve the rural financial payment and settlement environment and to accelerate rural modernization. That also shows that embedded applications will become more and more important in aspects of breakthrough technologies development, and pour into new energy and source in social modernization construction in the future.
