| The family education of Jie Zi Tong Lu is the first anthologies of family precepts existing of China,written in the early Southern Song Dynasty by the Southern Song Dynasty famous Confucian scholar--Liu Qing-zhi.bringing together a large number of home training material before the Song Dynasty.The book includes 172 articles Dividing into eight volumes.The mainly content of the first volume to the seventh volume is parent training,and the eighth volume is female training.The family precepts materials before song dynasty mainly in the first volume to the seventh volume,and the family precepts materials of song dynasty mainly in the Volume five,six,seven.The materials of family precepts mainly stem from the famous person’s corpus or biography,and a little of the materials stem from the king’s words.The space of the family precepts is different,It contains the independent book,poems,and famous person’s brief godson.After Jie Zi Tong Lu was completed,it mainly spread within the family.For a long time,few people knew it until Cui Dong who was born in Yuan dynasty.After he write a preface to Jie Zi Tong Lu,it just go back into the field of vision.He thought the book was good for future generations,but the book’s version is too little,so he decided to printed the book.Later,Chen Huang-shang,Zeng Fu-sheng and Yu-ji also write preface to Jie Zi Tong Lu,to promote the spread of it.It was included in The Yongle Canon in the Ming dynasty,but it didn’t spread by monograph in the society.When the ministers edited the Siku Quanshu in Qing Dynasty,they compiled it from Yongle Canon,they organized it to eight volume.Jie Zi Tong Lu offer abundant contents,the materials of family precepts are from the pre-qin period to the early years of the southern song dynasty,it provided an example for the later family precepts in the scope of its layout style and scope of selecting materials,promoting the development of the family precepts assembly during Ming and Qing dynasties literature.It also produced important influence for the later generations family precepts.Jie Zi Tong Lu write annotation after each article title,and it’s the biggest differences with the other family precepts collection.The annotation is concise and practical,and it can help us to understand and use this content more convenient.Due to the limited space of Jie Zi Tong Lu,it have a choice of the content of the family precepts.The excerpts of style is distinctly,and the extracts of teaching content is targeted,inclouding cultivate one’s morality,regulate family and secure an official position,and so on,enhancing the practicability and teachings of the book.But in the process of circulating of Jie Zi Tong Lu,the book is lost.By compare the book with theoriginal literature sources,we find that there are some problems.The annotation is the important part,but there are some problems,as the error recorded content,the meaning of the book are changing because of the word is change,and so on.The excerpts of the family precepts have some problems too.In the circulating process of Jie Zi Tong Lu,some words was changed.Although there are many problems in Jie Zi Tong Lu,as an important family precepts book of the development history of family precepts,it has the important education value,literature value and collating value,etc. |
