The asymmetric information in medical conflict has become a common phenomenon in doctor-patient relationship.The study not only can reduce the patients' benefit loss and maintain the feature of doctor and hospital, but also help to solve medical conflict and to build harmonious society.In the thesis, the topic is asymmetric information in medical conflict, the writer will use communication, sociology, psychology and economics to study.The research will from the angel of communication to study representation of asymmetric information and the reason of conflict, propose settlement strategy of asymmetric information in medical conflict.At the same time, use both qualitative and quantitative, macroscopic and microscopic research methods and connect the empirical study and document analysis to promote the quality of research.The following is mainly research contents:First, to recognize the current situation such as types of conflict, representation of asymmetric information and the reason of conflict, the writer has selected several hospitals in Chengdu to issue questionnaires, and then analyze statistic dates.Second, the writer will start from the angel of communication and connect the theory of sociology, psychology and economics to analyze the detail representation of asymmetric information.Then analyze the social influence of asymmetric information in medical conflict. The writer will also use document analysis method to analyze the deviance of doctor and patient.Third, the thesis will use communication theories such as knowledge-gap hypothesis to analyze the social reason of asymmetric information.The write will also analyze the problem from the angel such as the influencing factors of understanding and interpersonal communication.Fourth, the thesis will try to propose settlement strategy of asymmetric information in medical conflict for patient, doctor, hospital, government and media.At last, the following conclusions can be listed: first,medical conflict is common in Chengdu and the rate is a little high,slight language conflict account for 75%,severe body conflict and violent conflict are rare.The mainly reason of medical conflict are knowledge-gap,doctor-patient role difference and dissatisfaction of treatment result. Residents is not optimistic about the present situation of the doctor-patient relationship, 69% of patients think the current doctor-patient relationship in Chengdu is not good, 45.3% of the doctors said the doctor-patient relationship is bad. second, asymmetric information in medical conflict mainly in doctor-patient role, medical knowledge, medical service choice and cognitive dissonance; third, the society reason of asymmetric information in medical conflict include the doctor-patient medical knowledge gap, comprehending deviation and the effect of media coverage.
