With the development of science and artificial intelligence, remote vehicle technology has penetrated into all walks of life, such as industrial control, agricultural production, medical equipment, intelligent appliances, military operations, undersea exploration, space exploration, etc., the emergence of wireless remote control car has a large extent on the place of human manual operation, and reduces the people's work that directly involved in some dangerous environment.Based on the Vehicle-channel Radiation Monitoring System and combined the existing mobile robot technology, this article designed a wireless remote control car. The Vehicle-channel Radiation Monitoring System is a real-time monitoring system to detect the radioactive substances on the vehicles, specialized for ports, border and customs. It can effectively detect that if the environmental radiation dose rate is exceeded, and collect vehicle speed, video surveillance and other information, to avoid radioactive substances on vehicles flows into the population density places. In order to ensure the accuracy of the radiation monitoring system and meet the national standards, it is necessary to calibrate it. For conventional calibration,the radioactive source device is manually pushed to through the measurement channel. Since the source device generally weighs tens of kilograms, it's very inconvenient to handle the device by the manual, what's more, the radioactive source will cause certain harm to our body with close contact. On the other hand, to push source device to move has a bad control to the moving speed, so that it is difficult to effectively calibrate the parameter measured by radiation monitoring system, especially for the speed calibration. To solve the above problems, this article designed a large-scale remote control car with 1: 2 ratio as the dynamic calibration device. It can simulate the actual vehicle, carrying the radiation source pass through the measurement channel with constant speed, in order to achieve dynamic calibration for the radiation monitoring system.It is analyzed the radiation monitoring system and the remote control car's working principle, and designed the overall system. The system mainly consists of two parts: car body and handheld remote control. We choose C8051F020 chip to control the car, including the main system controller, power source system, motion control, sensor data acquisition, and remote wireless communications. After various research about car's structure, the article identified and produced a remote control car body mechanical structure, and completed hardware circuit drawing and software programming. By analysis of H-bridge driver circuit, a large current output DC motor drive circuit was designed to meet the power demand, complete motor control, and control PWM speed. Using incremental photoelectric encoder to get motor speed and combined with incremental PID control to adjustment speed with an accuracy of 0.1% or more. Handheld remote control using WinCE embedded operating system and ARM920 T core processor, constitute a movable control platform. Supporting for touch screen input and display, it has a good interactive interface. Handheld remote control based on EVC 4.0 to develop its software, on the one hand to collect the car speed, mileage and other status information, on the other hand according to the remote control commands to control the car. In order to realize the remote control of the car, through the JZ871 module for wireless data transmission, combined with a modeling method based on finite state machine to improve the system fault tolerance, the effective transmission distance can reach more than 100 meters.A large number of experiments show that the remote control car can be realized on the functions of presets steering, straight, braking, reverse, emptying the mileage and other wireless instructions; For the driving power, remote control car can run with 0-8Km / h speed, keep stable when through damping rod, electronics, etc., and has 20 °of climbing ability. The remote control car as dynamic calibration device has the characteristics of high control precision, stable operation, far distance of the wireless communication, strong anti-interference ability and so on.
