In view of this requirement this paper design a structured electronic medical record system.In this paper, according to Xinhua Hospital Information System at this stage and future development goals, the key construction is the electronic medical record system as the core, the it as a platform, and other information systems integration, achieve the sharing of information resources, promote construction of hospital informationization. This system is in strict accordance with the norms of software engineering specifications and hospital information system development, such as the "standard", the basic functions of electronic medical records, electronic medical records "the basic architecture and data standards (Trial)" etc.. And follow the international and domestic regional electronic medical records within the transmission and sharing of code, such as HL7, CDA etc.. System adopts the technology of J2EE system architecture, WebSphere middleware, MVC mode technology and XML technology, etc. from the demand analysis, system design, system implementation and testing and so on several parts described the development process of the system.At present, the system has been successfully applied in Xinhua Hospital, system has the advantages of simple operation, fast response and improve the working efficiency of the medical staff, improve the quality of medical care, reduce medical errors, to accelerate the process of informatization construction of hospital.
