The Application And Research Of The Electronic Medical Records Sharing System

This thesis designed and implemented an electronic medical record sharing system, implemented the integration of the date from different databases and different data source. The thesis mainly work is as follows:(1) Completed the design and implementation of the electronic medical record extraction subsystem. Used the database connection pool to complete the management of a variety of database connection, used extraction configuration files as data extracting task basis, realized the extraction of the electronic medical records in different database, in three extraction mode:the instant extraction, timing extraction, regular extraction, provide flexible extraction mode to the hospital. Depend on the extraction rules and extraction time, which set by user, extracted the medical records in different databases of different hospitals, then saved them in the form of XML files, in the meanwhile, saved the binary data of the database as disk files.(2) Completed the development of electronic medical records transmission subsystem. Depend on the multithreading mechanism, constructed a multithreaded messages processing model. Split the XML files into many pieces, improved the efficiency of message sending. Designed the message confirm mechanism, ensured the messages’ reliable transmission. With the message cache mechanism, realized the fast receive of the messages, and the batching storage. Implemented the electronic medical records, in XML form, transmited to remote center server through WAN by a unified interface, realized the sharing of electronic medical records.(3) Completed the development of electronic medical records importing subsystem. Depend on users’different mapping rules and the standard format of electronic medical records, imported these messages in XML format into standard electronic medical records database, achieved the integration and standardization of the electronic medical records. Implemented the parametric configuration and parameter configuration importing task. Through the regular automatic search, realized the automation data loading; Perfect log records work ensured orderly execution of the later maintenance module.The thesis builds an electronic medical records sharing system, from three aspects:extraction of different electronic medical records from different database, electronic medical records transferring, electronic medical records importing. The system provides the function of instant extraction, timing extraction, regular extraction, meet the hospitals’ demand for safe and effective sharing of the electronic medical records under unsupervised situation.
