In current technical condition, the traditional water supply SCADA system has not been able to satisfy the demand of the existing water supply system. Because of the continuous expansion of urban scale and the increasing demand for production, the scale of water supply system is also expanded in recent years. The requirement for the control and monitoring of the water supply pipe network has attracted much more attention. Aiming at solving the existed problems, detection and location method of pipeline leakage has also been lucubrated to make more comprehensive understanding of the water supply system operation status and the leakage of pipeline. On consideration of the above content, this paper describes the history and the development of the water supply SCADA system, and designs a new SCADA system with combining the variety of powerful computer technology and study the method of leak detection and location based on acoustic signal.Firstly, the paper analyzes the structure and the disadvantages of traditional water supply SCADA system and the design principles for new system. In the view of the software architecture of the system, this paper puts forward five layer architecture and introduce the details of five layer architecture of the system. The integration of Spring MVC, Spring and Sql2o framework used in the system is realized and the functions of the system are described.Secondly, the method of the water supply pipeline network is studied, and the advantages and disadvantages of each method, applicable scope and applicable environment are summarized in depth. Based on the acoustic signal method, this paper researches the leakage acoustic signal spectrum characteristics and propagation characteristics, which lays a solid foundation for de-noise method based on EMD and ICA.In order to verify the effect of pre-processing on the leakage acoustic signal, a simulation experiment using the proposed algorithm mentioned in this paper is designed. In this paper, the de-noise method of the leak detection and location to improve the leak positioning precision has a certain reference value. Based on the design of the water supply SCADA system in this paper, the system can improve the effect of digital monitoring and management of water supply system, provide users with better service and reduce economic loss of water supply company.
