Design And Implementation Of Natural Gas SCADA System For Large Residential Community

With the strong construction and development of large-scale residentialcommunities, the safe operation of natural gas within the community is more important.Due to natural gas is toxic and explosive, once the leak will often cause loss ofcommunity residents and property. In addition, due to the lack of a complete monitoringsystem for natural gas anomalies using (steal gas), it often happens the phenomenon ofstealing gas. Therefore, it is very necessary for the natural gas abnormal use and leakagemanagement within the large residential community to design and develop the SCADAsystem, it wil be able to monitor effectively and get real-time transmission of data suchas pressure, temperature, alarm, flow. It can not only guarantee the safe use of naturalgas for the residents and businesses within the community, but also gas companiesstrengthens the real time remote monitoring for gas usage in community.This thesis takes a large residential community in Songjiang district as abackground, takes four types of users of regulator station, pressure pipeline, large gasunits, small catering enterprises as targets to be monitored. Each monitoring point byusing the GPRS DTU device through GPRS network to transmit data to the monitoringcenter.The monitoring center uses the C/S architecture, SQL Server as backgrounddatabase, using Visual Basic6as the development tool, initially completed the naturalgas SCADA system for large residential communities.This thesis describes the SCADA development of gas industry, and the mainrelated technology is introduced; analyzes system requirements; and introduces in detailthe system design process; has a detailed design analysis and implementation of themain modules; simply describes the system testing, and designs the individual modulefunctional test case; Finally this thesis makes summary on implement and prospect ofthe system．...
