MIMO radar has attracted much attention in the past ten years. It has plenty of advantages in the new radar systems. MIMO radar is famous for using multiple antennas to transmit different waveforms and to receive signals at the same time. A new model for signal processing is provided with MIMO radar. Orthogonal independent of the waveform is used at the transmitter. The matched filter, beam forming, moving target detection and other advanced signal processing technology has been used at the receiving end. MIMO radar can be divided into two types, that is, the statistical MIMO radar and the centralized MIMO radar. Compared with the traditional phased array radar, the MIMO radar has higher spatial resolution, higher spatial resolution, higher detection sensitivity, better parameter identification capability and adaptive array antenna technology. Because MIMO radar has so many advantages, and it has good anti-jamming capability, so the research on the jamming against MIMO radar has become a hot topic.In this paper, firstly, the basic working principle of two kinds of MIMO radar is researched. Then, the model of the transmitting signal of the two radar is analyzed. Then the orthogonal transmit waveforms of three kinds of MIMO radar are discussed, and the signal processing process of the radar is researched by combining the MIMO radar model. The MIMO radar signal model is constructed by MATLAB simulation, and the matched filtering and beam forming are simulated. Based on this, the interference equation of MIMO radar is researched. According to the technical characteristics, the anti-jamming performance of MIMO radar is analyzed, and the jamming strategy is discussed. Then, the jamming and noise jamming is researched. The basic concept, principle, modulation mode and several common interference patterns of MIMO radar are researched. These interference patterns include: the pulse delay and the interference of the pulse delay, the jamming of the shift frequency jamming, the edge duplication and the interference of the equal interval sampling. The modified form of the noise jamming is derived. In the end, the signal generation principle of the smart noise jamming pattern is simulated by MATLAB, and the effect of the jamming is researched. The effectiveness of the smart noise jamming to MIMO radar is demonstrated by simulation experiments and theoretical analysis.
