Modeling And Simulation Of Ground-Based Phased Array Radar System

Ground phased array radar is an important part of the Ballistic Missile Defense System,.for the reason of Expensive to manufacture, long manufacturing cycle and high maintenance costs, so we chose the computer to simulation the foundation phased array radar system. It is quiet efficient to accomplish the scheme argumentation and performance evaluation of the ground based radar system by modeling and simulating it, this method is available for researching its techniques.Firstly, this article talk from the foundation works of typical phased array radar system,simulation each module in the radar system. And we have a detailed analysis of the physical meaning of each model and modeling methods. At the same time these models were all tested. According to the design of typical foundation phased array radar system,we build the entire radar system by the simulation model established. the simulation flow of multiple targets' searching, tracking and PD velocimetry of the established radar system is simulated and verified. The correctness of the established system is verified by the simulation result.This ground-based phased array radar is built on the standardized and modular idea, which is convenient to modify it subsequently. At the same time, the detected results of the radar system have been optimized by point processing technology, that make the radar system performance improved.
