The Design And Implementation Of The Hotel Room Cashier Management System

With the rise of more and more modern hotels, compared with the traditional hotels,using more and more efficient and faster information management make them occupy the domestic market gradually.Xi 'an Tourism Group has a lot of chain hotels which used to be hostels, since the 21 st century,many of chain hotels have still adopted the pure manual management or the old information system management.In order to reform of the hotel management, adapt to the market environment,enhance the competitiveness and improve the economy efficiency, Xi 'an tourism group decided to apply a new hotel management system.Because of that my developing work only relate to the room management and cashier's work,so this paper was written in association with zhe room and cashier management.This article mainly discusses the analysis of requirement and detailed design and implementation of the management system through a combination of the actual business in Guan Zhong hotel which belongs to Xi'an Tourism Group.This system adopts Studio Visual 2012 as a software development tool, and use the ASP.NET MVC4 development model and B/S architecture to complete the whole system pages and processing logic. In terms of the database background, it uses SQL Server 2012 as the database management tool. This paper has achieved the design and implementation of the three modules of the system, the system settings module, the cashier management module and report query module. In the part of system requirements analysis, the feasibility of the system is determined, and the functional requirements of the system are determined by UML use case modeling, and also the non functional requirements of the system are determined,too.In the stage of system design and implementation, through the top-down approach, it firstly expounds the overall design of the system, including the design of system platform, the design of system's total module,and the design of logical and network structure;Finally combining the function of the system, the implementation of each module of the system are described;In the stage of system testing and analysis, he system test plan is determined from two aspects, module function testing and system performance testing. Module function test adopts the method of unit testing and black box testing.Stress Testing is the main content in System performance testing by using Load Runner tool. The testing part of this paper gives us a detail discuss by some testing use cases, so as to determine the system is able to satisfy the demands of system's function and performance.This paper starts with the background of the topics, and according to the definition of the software development process in the field of software engineering, this paper discusses the whole development cycle of the hotel room management system. At present, the software system has been on line in the test stage, according to the feedback of the hotel staff, the system runs well, and can meet the daily management of the hotel business. Believe that keep finding and solving problems, this system will continue to be improved in the future.
