Performance can be more important than functions to some enterprises and users.For example,the performance bottle neck of an e-commerce Web site would restrict the development and increase of the enterprise, and even destroy the image of this enterprise possibly.Web Performance Testing is a very important step in the process of a Web system developing and implementing.It i s a long history since Software Tesitng techniques began to appear and develop. Today Automatic Testing technique is a hot area in research of Software Testing and Web application is prevalent in all kinds of applications, so there is a growing concern about Web Tesitng techniques.But compared to traditional Software Testing,Web application testing is almost an unexplored aera and usuallyer lies to o lely on ad hoc testing processes.Web application has some specialities such a sheterogeneity, distribution and concurrence. The demand from outside and the complexity inside make it more dificult to test Web application than traditional application, which brings new challenge on software testing. It is necessary to understand and analyze HTTP protocol deeply for Web testing. The Automatic Web Performance Testing in this paperis a kind of Script Testing Method on basis of HTTP Protocol Analysis.The Web performance uses the different measure standard from the different aspects. This article briefly describes the importance of performance testing of web system, according to performance testing tool LoadRunner , lead the research to the performance testing two most important target - - concurrent number of users and the response time. After study the HTTP protocal and base on the understanding to Web system construction, this article mainly do the research to the Discuz2.0 system test, summarizes and confirm suitable testing means for the Web automation performance test method. This paper has divide the web system testing method into six processes based on the Web system performance testing: Making performance testing plan, build performance testing environment, record and develop testing script, foundation testing scene, play the monitor scene and analysis testing result. And also gives Web performance test the general step.
