With the rapid development of information technology,nearly all walks of life are under its influence nowadays.Tourism is no exception and tourism information has become a trend in today's society.Tourists are no longer satisfied with package tours,but hope in the form of self-help on their own journey.In response to this demand,we have designed and developed a self-help tourism management information system.We had analyzed the current shortages of tourism management information system and carried out a detailed demand analysis before the system was further developed.Adopting the structure of B/S and using the analysis method of object-oriented,eventually,we designed and developed the self-help tourism management information system.This system is mainly to achieve an online browser attractions information and reviews,online ticketing and other functions refund.In the process of demand analysis,we used diagram to describe the functions of the system.After that,according to the specifications of the systematic function,we analyzed the business rule management system in detail and its business process with flow chart.Taking the maneuverability,security and maintainability into consideration,subsequently,we showed the system performance requirements.In the process of designing and developing the whole system,we primarily programmed the database.During this stage,first,we confirmed the entity sets and the attributes.Then through the entity sets we determined the relationship sets.Finally the E-R picture of the system was drawn.After that we made an explicit plan about the logical structure of the database sheet.In the part of implementation of the system,we expounded its procedures of the system's main modules.
