| Nowadays juvenile delinquency is called "three social evils", together with pollution of the environment and drug, is increasing attention by many countries as a serious social problem. The studies showed that the essential cause of such phenomenon is a lack of legal awareness, and improving adolescents’ knowledge of law will take effect on prevention of juvenile delinquency. TV Legal Program will help minors to learn and obey the laws with its rich and vivid resources. On the other hand, it will decrease the rate of juvenile delinquency. This thesis discuss the impact of TV Legal Program on prevention of juvenile delinquency from four different parts.Chapter one illustrates the definition of juvenile and TV Legal Program. The Juvenile is defined differently from the term of social concept and penal law, the two are different in age.Chapter two analyses the cause and current situation of juvenile delinquency in Inner Mongolia. It shows that lacking of family, school and society’s involvement on law-related education to the growing-up teenagers easily causes the juvenile delinquency.Chapter three demonstrates the positive and negative effects of TV Legal Program on development of law-related education to the juveniles. As the main mass media of the government, radio and television media is playing more positive than negative impact role to the minors.Chapter four clarifies the impact of TV Legal Program on prevention of juvenile delinquency from different aspects, such as moral education, legal literacy, public opinion guidance etc. |
