The Study Of Luo Zhenchang And His Philology Achievements

This paper tries to explore Luo Zhenchang's philology achievements through his writings and activities.Analysing his bibliography writing and textual criticism work,also his archaeology creation.Arranging Yin Yin Lu' publication of books.All these reflect Luo Zhenchang's philology achievements have not been fully excavated.The basis of a comprehensive research needs to master Luo's life story,in order to clarify the various discords of Luo Zhen Chang's life activities.This review focuses on his own writings,and the recollections of his relatives and descendants.The first part is the investigation of Luo Zhenchang's life and family.After middle age,Luo Zhenchang contended with ancient books.Whenever he found rare books he will append some inscriptive writings to distinguish the version origin,that reflects his wisdom.He has remarkable version bibliography achievements in addition to his own writings,such as Records of Rare books.He also compiled two kinds of bibliography such as Zi Yi Yue Study Collection,which reflected his bibliography thought,also is an important historical details of researching bibliophiles.Collating New Tang Book and Dongpo essays shows that Luo Zhenchang dug into collation things quite deep.When he compiled Shi Kefa Essays,he mastered extensive information.What he has done provides the reliable basis version for later research.The second part is the study of Luo Zhenchang's main document writings.Luo Zhenchang opened a bookstore named Yin Yin Lu at Shanghai last century and engaged in ancient book publishing business.According to Yin Yin Lu bibliography can get a general idea about its organization of ancient books.The bibliographies are compiled accurately with complete system.So they obtain lots of admiration.It almost covers Four-branch books an widely accept new books.From Yin Yin Lu pubishing book abstact,we can discovery Yin Yin Lu Series and Miao Yuan Series,which are compiled by Zhou Zimei,are just part of Luo Zhenchang's printing books.The books that are sorted and gleaned by Luo Zhenchang provide a valuable resource for the later literature and history research.The third part is the organization of Yin Yin Lu.Finally,the paper listed in appendix with everybook's collection of seal,and test the master one by one to see the grand collection of bibliophiles.This paper tries to do a comprehensive research about Luo Zhenchang and his philology achievements by widely collecting profiles.In order to draw attention to Luo Zhenchang's academic status.
