Design And Implementation Of Video Conference Management System Based On BigBlueButton

With the development of electronic information technology, modern electronic information technology is widely used in businesses, schools and other public areas to assist and revise the traditional work process. However, there are problems of conference management in current time not only in companies but also in universities. Most of our daily meetings have obvious disadvantages which are traditional, low efficiency, prone to make mistakes and hard to manage. We are in a despered need of an internal, self-updating and self-improvement of the video conference management. Therefore, we develop a BigBlueButton-based conference management system, which uses PHP as the programming language, MySQL as the database.The whole system has many advantages such as fresh, generous, and easy to operate. The features cover the administrator login, meeting information creating, modifying, deleting, querying(Future extension: the meeting time querying, the presiding querying, the number of participants querying, the meeting name querying, etc.) and database recovery backup.This paper introduces the developing background of the video conference management system in detail, demonstrates the difficulties, explains core ideas and solutions as well as the function and developing process of the system. We also design and explain modules with UML which can increase efficiency of developers and guarantee the achievement of software system.
