The Silk Road was formed in the 200 BC and originated in Chang-an in the period of Western Han Dynasty. It was more than 7000 kilometers in length and experienced over 2000 years. The formation and development of the Silk Road created an immeasurable contribution to the human civilization, social economy and historical culture, and also left a lot of brilliant cultural heritage.With putting forward of the conception of "the Belt and Road" Initiative, the public interest in Silk Road cultural heritage is increasing. But now, it is inadequate to transmit the geographical category and the state of cultural heritage about the Silk Road. For the reason, this paper designs a multi-client information system of Silk Road cultural heritage based on geographical position, which using the alternant map, WebGL, J2EE and other technologies, to realize the online dissemination of the Silk Road cultural heritage Information. The main research work includes:(1) The overall structure of information system of Silk Road cultural heritage based on geographical position is designed. It adopts Unified Modeling Language to do requirement analysis; through researching of the Silk Road's development status and existing problems, it gives the full consideration of the Silk Road's universality and diversity in including field; it uses system case to explain system requirement both on the function and non-function aspect.(2) The exhibition and interaction of the Silk Road cultural heritage geographical position based on open map are realized. It realizes some function of Baidu map, including Basic map, coverings, map control display, tools, layers, right click menu, bus search, driving search, walking navigation and realizes the labeling of geographical position and retrieval of relevant information.(3) A method of online 3D display of cultural heritage based on WebGL is designed. We can convert the existing obj,ply, dae formats of cultural heritage into JSON format by WebGL, and create a fine three-dimensional graphics in the browser without any plug-ins with the data imported through the external mode.(4) The information system of Silk Road cultural heritage based on geographical position is designed and implemented. The system uses mixed structure combining B/S structure and mobile phone APP, and adopts MySQL as the background database and Resin as the server. It is developed by using SSH framework and based on the J2EE platform. It mainly achieves the three modules of background management platform, portal site and mobile client.The design and implementation of information system of Silk Road cultural heritage based on geographical position can bring more practical, quick and intuitive way to achieve the multi-client of Silk Road cultural heritage online communication and promotion and meet the user's requirements on briefness, convenience, real-time browsing, query and editing.
