The Research And Implementation Of The Silk Road Virtual Reality System Catering To Multi-Sensory Experience

Currently, the combination of culture and technology by computer technology has become a trend. Many designers prefer to use virtual reality to express art. Although virtual reality has been in-depth study, the popularization of this technology is still in the exploratory stage. The digitized work of culture hasn’t form a unified standard and the evaluation of virtual experience hasn’t a perfect measure.To cure the above problems, we studied the Silk Road Virtual Reality System catering to Multi-Sensory Experience. We regenerate culture through digital technology. Many computer technologies are helpful, such as virtual reality, multimedia technology, network technology, human-computer interaction, etc. The combination of art and technology can help people feel and perceive arts. Details are as follows:(1) The methods of experience assessment are proposed. Firstly, analyze multi-sensory user experience. Secondly, discuss the advantages of HDR images. Thirdly, discuss the way to create stereo sound. At last, analyze user demands for virtual cultural experience through questionnaires.(2) The theories and techniques of the system are summarized. The relationship between cultural level and design level is summarized. The technologies of three-dimensional scene modeling and digital culture design are studied.(3) The construction of the Silk Road Virtual Experience System in the form of hardware and software combination. In accordance with the principles of interactive projection system, we built the hardware platform and completed an art device interacting by gesture. We implemented a virtual tour technology by changing the users’ first perspective height according to the users’ height. Finally, we made an experiment to evaluate the experience of the system.
