The Design And Realization Of Project-cost Management System For Coastal Development And Construction

With the rapid development of Chinese economy, the project construction has also entered a booming stage. Hence, it has become a top priority for the construction company to manage the construction project in a rational and standardized manner with the aid of computer information system. The project cost management has been of great significance to the project management. Based on the analysis on the whole project cost, this paper has designed and realized a project-cost management system for coastal development and construction.After analyzing the development status of information system in the construction industry both at home and abroad, this paper has chosen the standard process in the software engineering so as to manage and optimize the system scientifically. The feasibility analysis on the system has been also conducted. In order to analyze the system need, this paper has adopted UML use case diagram and activity diagram for modeling. According to actual need of coastal development and construction, the system consists of project information management subsystem, project cost management subsystem, project report management subsystem and system management subsystem. To be more specific, the project information management subsystem has included the registry of project information, the query of project information, the alteration of project information and the deletion of project information. The project cost management subsystem is comprised of norm management module, budge management module, settlement management module and estimation management module. The project report management subsystem has included the report template management, report design management and report data management. The system management subsystem has covered the user management module, system parameter setting and system log management. This system is based on the well-designed three-layer B/S strusture.ASP.NET is used to design the system. SQL Server 2008 is chosen as the database server. The operating system is Windows Server 2008. Visual Studio 2008 is chosen to develop the system.The project-cost management system for coastal development and construction has passed the test of system function and security, indicating an excellent performance. The system can satisfy the requirement of information management environment and thus provide reference for the design and realization of similar system.
