Design And Implementation Of Project Management System For Construction Enterprises

With the development of China's infrastructure construction, construction project information management has increasingly become a focus of the construction enterprise to strengthen and improve their management level and service ability. So, how to design and develop a construction project information management system to achieve project management informationization, electronic, automation, intelligent and paperless office effectively, has become an urgent issue. Therefore, it's needed to design a project management system to meet the requirements of the current condition and improve the level of management.In this context, this paper mainly discusses the design and application of project management system in construction companies. First, the paper introduces the source and background of the subject. Second, it conducts a demands analysis of project management system, obtains the business processes for various functions of the company's project management, and establishes the functional model of the system.After that, on the basis of demands analysis, the paper designs and analyzes it from system framework, database and functional structure in detail. The system is developed and implemented completely basing on the popular MVC schema, using MySQL Database and JAVA as the program language.(Working on my own or partly collaborating with my colleagues) I completed the following work: carried the functional demands and non-functional demands analysis of the following modules:tender management module, project information management module, material management module, equipment management module, quality management module and security management module; undertook the database design and functions design in detail. By displaying the operating interface, the paper ensures readers to have a much clearer understanding of this system. Later on, this system is tested. The last part is the summary of the paper.The project management system has been put into operation. The system raises the construction efficiency,reduces the project management cost large scale, and provides support for the deployment of project management and decision-making. The system reduces the intensity of the work of project management department and improves the operating efficiency of the entire business.
