| With Wenda Information Engineering College (hereinafter referred to as "Wenda College") school size has grown, newer and higher demand for vehicle management of the College has come to light. Meantime, the scientific and intelligent of vehicle management have also been put onto the agenda by information development. The old vehicle-dispatching manner mainly with manual recording and human management has exhibited many shortcomings and deficiencies. Therefore the college development requires a new vehicle management system that is capable of meeting the demand for the development of the College. After a period of investigation, the vehicle-managing pattern of Wenda Academy has been clear and the structure of vehicle management system has been established, based on which the software specifications have been made and the localization of software development have been determined. According to the software requirements specifications, an analysis has been made on the users’needs of Wenda College’s Vehicle Management System. The interface and the management function that the software which is to develop takes and the software performance have been confirmed, on the basis of which the design outline of vehicle management system has been proposed, which will further be able to improve the design and development of Wenda College’s vehicle management system. This paper did research by using WEB page design software, ASP.NET software development and SQL Server 2005 database software platform. The design and implementation of vehicle management system is studied deeply. The system uses ASP.NET programming technology in the programming environment of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Besides, the system back-end database uses SQL Server 2005 and through rational design, all the functions of the system have been achieved successfully. The system includes the function modules of adding administrator users, login, adding ordinary users by administrators, ordinary users login, basic vehicle information and management, the application of users’vehicles, approval by administrators and the management of driver information. The system is mainly operated by two main types of users: administrators and ordinary users. |
