In recent years, with the rapid development of Wireless Communication Technology, research and application of Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) has become a hot topic. The WSN nodes can use their sensors to collection information, deal with it, and the send it to other nodes in the WSN. So design high performance and high reliability nodes can make a big differences in the WSN. Verification is the most important part in System-on-Chip(SoC) design, and it takes the most time and costs. Nowadays simulation verification, formal verification and prototyping verification are the main verification methods. There is a very necessary to do a prototyping verification when the design is complex, and the verification efficiency is the key problem. This article is to discuss the WSN's FPGA prototyping verification. Before verification, we need to plan how to verification, this is driven by the actual using WSN nodes, we need a FPGA verification platform who can emulate the SoC's functions. The implementation of verification platform can depart with three main aspect, the implementation of programmer, the implementation of sensor interface, the implementation of memory. Finally, analyze the test results and compare it with expectations in detail to ensure the correctness and reliability of verification results.Using the designed FPGA verification platform, the research group can do the verification simply and efficiently, ensuring the full coverage of the functions, providing the necessary premise for the high reliability of WSN nodes.
