Design And Implementation Of Topic Selection System In ERP Based On Digital Publishing

In the development process of informatization, digital publishing enterprises are facing the problem: with topics accumulating in publishers year by year, increasing information can be used and need to be stored. As a result, the editors require more topic information when making decisions. How to manage the topic information more effectively, optimize the topic selection process, and follow the topic information as well as the related resources become the common demand of the digital publishing enterprises. Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP), is defined as one of the modern enterprise management theories, and becomes the industry standard in enterprise management systems. Therefore, the topic selection process can be managed by designing and implementing the topic selection system of digital publishing ERP to help the editors access topic information as well as related resources quickly. Thus, the traditional way to select topics can be updated by integrating human resources, management resources and information resources together. And finally the proper decision can be reached. The main work of this thesis is as follows:In this thesis,according to the state-of-the-art of the digital publishing industry, a clear understanding of the topic selection process, file process and composing process of digital publishing can be obtained through the detailed literature review. Then the requirements of the digital publishing ERP system were analyzed from the following two aspects- the topic selection process management and content management. Through the analysis of the entities and their relationships in topic selection process, the design of the database was completed and so was the detailed function design of digital publishing ERP selection system. Finally, the topic selection system of digital publishing ERP in Primeton EOS development platform had been implemented successfully, and the system was tested with different test cases.In this thesis, based on the contents of the books, the historical novel ontology was constructed, and the resources of digital publishing contents had been organized. With Web Service techniques, the users in the topic selection process of digital publishing ERP are able to query the book knowledge and content knowledge, and a wider range of knowledge can be shared and transferred more efficiently.In summary, the topic selection system in digital publishing ERP was designed and implemented, which made the management of the topic selection process more effective. And the digital publishing resources were well organized by incorporating the ontology knowledge database. In addition, by using ontology-based knowledge querying functions, the editors can make proper decisions about topic selection.
